CULA is accredited by the Commission on Higher Education (CHE), a division of the World Association of Visioneers & Entreprenologists (, a not-for-profit accrediting and certifying body, founded in the State of Hawaii in 1991. It is not a recognized accrediting body of the U.S. Department of Education. Our students do not assume debt to attend CULA; therefore, they don't need Federal student loans. However, CULA is in the application process with the DOE to obtain accreditation only to satisfy some States' requirement for transfer of credits.
