CULA is accredited by the Commission on Higher Education (CHE), a division of the World Association of Visioneers & Entreprenologists (worldvisioneers.com), a not-for-profit accrediting and certifying body, founded in the State of Hawaii in 1991, it is not accredited by any other agency-which are, also, all privately held.
The Department of Education (DOE) "does not have the authority to recognize accrediting agencies of the accreditation of private" universities, according to the HEA.
Since students assume no debt nor loans to attend CULA, we have no need for Federal Loan status. However, CULA will apply to the DOE in December 2024 for accreditation - to satisfy the requirement of some States in transferring credits..
