Program Description

 

A doctoral level program designed as an accommodation to Europeans and others preferring the D.Sc. over the Ph.D.

 

 

 

Requirements

 
  1. Three years full-time or the equivalent of 81 quarter credits.
  2. A dissertation based upon original research.
  3. An Annotated Bibliography and a Critical Analysis of a current problem, both in the field of concentration.
  4. 25%-50% from the core curriculum

 

 

 

Prerequisites

 
  1. A master degree in this or a related field; a recognized license in the field; certified professional membership in the field; or at least 75% of degree requirements completed laboratory, practicum, clinical requirements, or any licensure qualifications.
  2. Articulation of an original topic of research, including acceptable methodology, and related to the specific degree title.
  3. An awareness of the objectives of external studies; the ability to achieve personal objectives; and a propensity for study by distance education.
